Warranty conditions for Split system and Roof Mounted system:

Manifold Copper Header is covered against:

- Brazing failure as a result from leaking at brazed joints.

Manifold Copper Header is NOT COVERED when leaking is a result of:

- Metallic corrosion

- Alterations to the shape or configuration of the header pipe.

- Exposure to pressure exceeding 6 bars.

- Exposure to temperatures exceeding 232oC. (Manifold stagnation will not reach 232oC.)

Heat Pipes are covered against:

- Poor performance because of loss of vacuum.

Evacuated Tubes are covered against:

- Important reduction in performance due to loss of vacuum. Loss of vacuum is confirmed when the Barium layer coating on the bottom of the Evacuated tube turns white.

Evacuated Tubes are UNCOVERED when loss of vacuum is a result of:

- Breakage of the glass tube or the bottom tip during transport or installation.

- Impact by hail exceeding 30mm in diameter.

- Impact by objects that could be expected to smash 1.6mm thick glass.

- Breakage due to movement, vibration or misalignment of the mounting frame.

Aluminium Frame is covered against:

- Corrosion in excess of that expected of Aluminium alloy in the environmental conditions the frame is exposed to.

Aluminium Frame is UNCOVERED when:

-The frame is welded, brazed, or otherwise exposed to temperatures exceeding 500oC.

-The frame is in contact with other metals, which results in electrolytic corrosion.

Rubber/Plastic Components are covered against:

- Perishing, drying or cracking to such extent that the function of the component is compromised when in outdoor use.

Rubber/Plastic Components are UNCOVERED when:

- Exposed to temperatures, chemicals, solvents or other substances that weaken, or in anyway degrade the properties or function of such rubber/plastics.

Additional conditions for Roof Mounted system:

Collector Tank is covered against:

- Faulty workmanship as a result from Leaking at welded joints.

Collector is UNCOVERED when leaking is a result of:

- Exposure to pressure exceeding 0.4 bars.

- Alterations to the shape or configuration of the tank.

- Exposure to temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Celsius. (If the tank is open vented the temperature will not exceed 100 degrees Celsius)

JNJ SOLAR Collectors are covered by a standard 10 year parts warranty. This warranty is serviced by JNJ SOLAR Ltd agent who sold you this solar collector. Warranty claims should not be submitted directly to JNJ SOLAR Ltd. unless the collector was sold by JNJ SOLAR Ltd. The warranty excludes spare part supply, labour costs, any other fees related to section replacement.

If you have a problem with your JNJ SOLAR Collector, please contact the agent that supplied this collector to you. Your suppliers contact details should be located on your purchase invoice, and on the collector package boxes. JNJ SOLAR pay attention in selecting representative agents and we are sure they will attend to any concerns you may have, however we would be most interested to hear from you if you feel unsatisfied by their service.

Your supplier is responsible for completing an assessment of your warranty claim. If in fact there is a problem with the solar collector to which the warranty applies, your supplier will provide you with the replacement part and organise the installation of the part . If you are confident to replace the component yourself, or can organise someone to complete the servicing for you, your supplier may post the component to you (evacuated tube or heat pipe). Your supplier is required to provide you with a warranty document covering this solar collector and any other components supplied to you. JNJ SOLAR Ltd does not endorse any conditions outlined therein that are in contradiction or addition to those outlined in this document.
